The Thesis Program continues to connect students with local companies

For the third consecutive year, Norrköping Science Park, together with the Norrköping Tech Team network, is running the Thesis Program — an initiative designed to create meaningful connections between students and tech companies, while showcasing Norrköping's thriving tech scene as a career destination after graduation.

By Norrköping, for Norrköping

The initiators of the thesis program is Norrköping Tech Team, a network that brings together companies Stadium, Holmen, Siemens Energy, Voyado, HiQ, Interspectral, STMicroelectronics, Everon, Optiplan, and Gaia, alongside Linköping University and Norrköping Science Park.

The purpose of the network is to provide a platform for collaboration between Norrköping-based tech companies around shared opportunities and challenges. The Thesis Program is one example of an initiative that has grown from this collaboration, driven by the shared challenge of talent attraction and competence supply.

A strong University Campus

Norrköping is fortunate to have a strong university presence through Linköping University’s campus in the city, offering high-quality engineering and technology education. Each year, many students connect with Tech Team companies through their thesis projects. From this interaction, the idea was born to create a platform for thesis students to connect with each other and explore other companies within the network during their thesis period.

Over 50 students participated

In spring 2025, over 50 students participated in the initiative — which this year also expanded beyond thesis students to include a broader group of students at Campus Norrköping. Company visits were arranged to Voyado, Stadium, and Siemens Energy.

@Siemens Energy in Finspång

More visits to come!

These visits will continue into next year, as they provide students with a unique insight into Norrköping’s tech ecosystem and the opportunity to meet potential future employers. Just as importantly, they offer local companies a valuable chance to engage with the next generation of tech talent.
