Norrköping has a new testbed facility: the redox.me Center for Electrochemical Flow Systems. Here, everyone—from researchers, startups, and established companies to hobbyists and school students—can test and develop ideas, turning their inventions into reality. The goal is to lower the barriers to innovation and ignite interest in a technology that plays a crucial role in the transition to a sustainable society: electrochemistry.

For the third consecutive year, Norrköping Science Park, together with the Norrköping Tech Team network, is running the Thesis Program — an initiative designed to create meaningful connections between students and tech companies, while showcasing Norrköping's thriving tech scene as a career destination after graduation.

The ScaleAble project wrapped up its final matchmaking event in Tallinn, where 13 corporates and 45 scaling companies from Estonia, Finland and Sweden explored dual-use and securetech innovation.

Subsoccer was born during a family holiday when founder Jarno Saarinen came up with the idea of a table football game or under table game, played with your feet. After years of development, failed prototypes, and persistence, the concept evolved into a patented product with global traction. Today, Subsoccer is partnered with major brands such as Adidas, UEFA, and Heineken.

Virtual Dawn, a Finnish XR/AI company based in Tampere, has taken its first steps into the U.S. market following a successful presence at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. The trip led to new subscribers and promising business leads – a milestone that marks the start of a long-term presence across the Atlantic. We caught up with the team to hear more about their product, their journey, and how Bridging4Growth supported their expansion.

Över 300 deltagare var anmälda till NKPG Tech Day 2025 – ett nytt publikrekord – när akademi, näringsliv och politik möttes i Värmekyrkan den 15 maj. För femte året i rad bjöd evenemanget in till inspiration, nätverkande och framtidsvisioner i hjärtat av en stad som allt mer etablerar sig som ett nav för innovation och forskning.

Närmare 500 deltagare drogs till Cnema och Visualiseringscenter C under förra veckan för att se och ta del av berättelsen bakom världens första AI-dubbade långfilm – Watch the Skies. Filmen, som är den engelska versionen av UFO Sweden och som producerats av filmkollektivet Crazy Pictures, är ett banbrytande projekt som nu väcker uppmärksamhet både i Sverige och internationellt.

Med över 70 forskare, nio forskningsområden, 80 forskningsprojekt och sex utbildningar, är avdelningen för Kommunikations- och transportsystem (KTS) vid Linköpings universitets Campus Norrköping en central aktör i svensk transport- och logistikforskning.
