The ScaleAble project wrapped up its final matchmaking event in Tallinn, where 13 corporates and 45 scaling companies from Estonia, Finland and Sweden explored dual-use and securetech innovation.

Subsoccer was born during a family holiday when founder Jarno Saarinen came up with the idea of a table football game or under table game, played with your feet. After years of development, failed prototypes, and persistence, the concept evolved into a patented product with global traction. Today, Subsoccer is partnered with major brands such as Adidas, UEFA, and Heineken.

How do you actually enter a market like Brazil? That’s the question eight tech companies from four countries got to explore first-hand during a week-long delegation to São Paulo, arranged by us at Norrköping Science Park.

On May 20–21, an international matchmaking event will take place in Tallinn, where startups and scaleups from Sweden, Estonia and Finland Sweden can connect with leading corporates such as ACTIA, SAAB, SEB, Telia and many others. It’s a great opportunity for companies working with securetech or dual-use technologies to explore new collaborations.

Water damage is one of the most costly and disruptive issues for homes and businesses. Swedish scaleup Elementric is tackling this challenge head-on with innovative leak detection technology. By combining IoT and sensor expertise, their mission is to prevent water damage before it happens - making buildings safer, healthier, and more sustainable. Now, as part of our international Scaleup Launchpad program, Elementric is setting its sights on the Finnish and Estonian markets, aiming to expand its impact and forge key partnerships.

From April 7th to 11th, 2025, Norrköping Science Park is organizing an exciting business delegation to São Paulo, Brazil—tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Sweden located in the Central Baltic area*.

In mid-October, 11 innovative companies from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia traveled to Chicago as part of the EU-funded Bridging4Growth project. The delegation aimed to connect these companies with local stakeholders and practical strategies to break into the U.S. market. With us from Norrköping, we had our local companies Interspectral and Ligna Energy.

From November 4-7, Norrköping welcomed participants of the Scaleup Launchpad program for workshop-days aimed at equipping scaleup companies with strategies for sustainable growth. Hosted by Norrköping Science Park, the event brought together innovative tech companies from Sweden, Finland, and Estonia, representing a range of industries and solutions—from AI and IoT to construction and recruitment technology.

We are happy to announce that Norrköping Science Park has been granted a new study project! The study called “Internationalization of Swedish Growth Companies in Logistics and Transport" will run from August to November together with partners Linköping Science Park and Intuizio.
